The Ascaso Steel Duo PID is designed for home baristas who want to simultaneously brew espresso and froth milk, without compromising on temperature stability. Thanks to its dual thermoblock system, the machine has separate circuits for coffee and steam, completely eliminating waiting times.

The two stainless steel thermoblocks are independently controlled via a PID controller. This allows for very precise temperature adjustment and maintenance, which is essential when switching between different coffees and roast profiles. In combination with the adjustable pump pressure (OPV) and the manometer, this provides a controlled and reproducible extraction process.

The Steel Duo PID is equipped with a 3-way valve, which automatically releases overpressure after extraction. This results in a dry coffee puck and a cleaner workflow. The active cup warmer and intuitive control panel make the machine practical for daily use.

With its industrial stainless steel housing and well-thought-out functionality, the Steel Duo PID positions itself as a robust and efficient espresso machine for intensive home use.

Technical specifications:

The Ascaso Steel Duo PID has dimensions of 360 × 270 × 315 mm (h × w × d) and weighs 15 kg. The housing is made of stainless steel and is available in various colors.

The machine features a dual thermoblock system (stainless steel) and a vibratory pump with a pump pressure of 20 bar. The temperature is adjustable via a PID controller and is supported by a temperature gauge and pressure gauge.

The machine has a 2-liter water reservoir, which is removable from the right side. The maximum cup height is 8.5 cm and the portafilter has a diameter of 58 mm.

The Steel Duo PID is equipped with a 3-way solenoid valve for pressure relief, direct steam availability, and an active cup warmer. The power output is 2100 W.

The machine supports ground coffee and ESE servings, but not coffee beans or capsules. Descaling is done manually and the machine is suitable for backflushing. There is also the option to install a water filter.
