What is the difference between Chemex and V60?

Both are pour-over methods, but Chemex filters are thicker, which means they take a little longer to brew and the coffee is smoother, rounder and less oily.

Do I need a special grinder?

A consistent coarse grind is essential for Chemex. Preferably use a grinder with adjustable grind size.

Is Chemex difficult to use?

Not necessarily. With a little practice, a good pour-over kettle and a timer, you'll soon learn to make an excellent cup of coffee.

Can I use the Chemex for 1 cup?

Yes, although Chemex is great for multiple cups. For smaller quantities, you might also consider a Hario V60.
