The Bonavita Enthusiast 8-Cup Drip Coffee Brewer is a filter coffee maker designed according to the principles of specialty coffee: precision, consistency, and simplicity. With a focus on optimal extraction and temperature control, this machine delivers a clean, balanced cup of coffee daily without complex settings or manual intervention.

The strength of the Enthusiast lies in its controlled brewing parameters. Thanks to the 1500-watt heating element, the water temperature is constantly maintained between 91°C and 96°C, precisely within the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Golden Cup standard. The precision showerhead evenly distributes water over the coffee grounds, ensuring uniform extraction and maximum flavor development. For additional control, the machine features an optional Bloom function, which briefly pre-wets the coffee to release gases and improve extraction.

The design is minimalist and functional. The machine brews a full 1.2-liter pot of coffee in about 6 minutes. You have the choice between a double-walled stainless steel thermal carafe for heat retention without a warming plate, or a glass carafe with a warming function. The components are BPA-free and partly dishwasher-safe, making maintenance easy. The machine is built for daily use with a strong emphasis on durability and reliability.
