Veelgestelde vragen

How do you calculate the match percentage?

We compare your coffee on four points: the roast (light, medium, or dark), the flavor profile, the tasting notes, and the brewing method. The more that matches, the higher the percentage.

What does a flavor profile mean?

Every coffee at Koffie Kenner falls into one of our 10 flavor profiles, such as Chocolate, Berries, or Citrus. The profile reflects the flavor that stands out the most. This way, you can tell at a glance whether a coffee is right for you.

My coffee isn't listed. What now?

Choose a coffee that’s as similar as possible, for example from the same brand and with the same branding. Or take our coffee quiz: we’ll find your match based on what you like.

Does it also work with capsules or ground coffee?

The Flavor Match compares coffee beans. Do you drink capsules or ground coffee? Then look for beans from the same brand with the same flavor: the flavor profile is usually similar.

Where do the flavor profiles of other brands come from?

We have categorized them ourselves based on what the brand says about the coffee: roast, tasting notes, and recommended brewing method. It is a guideline, not a tasting note.
